Angelica Grande

Angelica Grande (b.1969) has been part of the art studios at Tierra del Sol since 2018. Angelica primarily creates textile works influenced by traditional Mexican sewing and craft methods taught to her by her mother and sister. She creates unique dolls, embroidered napkins, hook punch pillows, woven blankets and scarves. Angelica finds pieces of material at home and in the studio to create her one of kind dolls. The dolls are usually smiling with breaded hair and have outfits that might include lacey bloomers, soft shoes, beaded jewelry and matching stitched hats.
