Evan Hynes

Evan Hynes (b. 1990) is as much a storyteller as he is a visual artist. Born in Covina, California, Evan started making art in high school and went on to study Art History and English at Mt. San Antonio College. Using his knowledge of Art History and cinema, Evan draws super heroes, celebrities, and mythical creatures in a visual language all his own. With a mixture of graphite, pens and colored pencils Evan weaves together multilayers of color and often includes descriptive text. Evan started at the Tierra del Sol arts program seven years ago. He’s participated in a number of group exhibitions as well as curated a show at First Street Gallery in Claremont, CA. His first solo show was at the Tierra del Sol Gallery in Los Angeles, July of 2019.
